HGC-4, 1848; Pegasi-416; BCD Corinth-109. Obverse: Pegasos flying left; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left; Γ to lower left, filleted thyrsos to right. This piece, despite its somewhat irregular flan, is stuck very well on good metal. Pools of luster are particularly evident in the recessed areas of the design.
