This popular commemorative type features the former tsar, Alexander I, on the obverse, as well as the column dedicated to him on the reverse. Attractive matted surfaces and a richness of detail that is unencumbered by any significant marring. Some light scuffing is noted on the reverse, which is the only thing holding this example back from an even higher grade.
