SNG Cop-657; SNG von Aulock-3259. Cistophoric type. Dion-, magistrate. Obverse: Cista mystica, from which a serpent emerges; all within ivy wreath with fruits; Reverse: Cista mystica flanked by two interlaced serpents; TPAΛ to left, ΔION above, kithara to right. A nicely centered example with evidence of handling on the obverse and far less rub or friction being present on the reverse.
