RPC-I, 5210; K&G-14.6. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Agathodaimon serpent right; grain ears and poppies around, L Γ (date) to right; This truly interesting billion piece is a very nice example for the grade of an Egyptian Roman Provincial issuance. Though there is evidence of the crude nature of the production, the detail remains quite nice, and this example is problem-free.
Estimate: $150 - $300
