S-1918. Obverse: Christ Pantokrator seated facing on throne; Reverse: Crowned bust of Alexius facing, holding globus cruciger and cruciform scepter. This RARELY encountered type presents a great opportunity to acquire a billion Byzantine piece. Though clearly circulated, the concave reverse has largely been protected from wear, leaving the reverse in a far better state of preservation than the grade of fine.
