Roma E-74, lot 275 (same dies); Roma E-57, lot 134 (same); Jenkins, Punic, p. 75, 12 var. (swastika not pellet on obv., legend above bull); HGC 2, 1050 corr. (denomination) var. (same). 0.61g, 10mm, 6h.

Good Very Fine. Extremely Rare.

From a private European collection.

Anomalously missing from both Jenkins and HGC, as the type was first published in BMC Sicily in 1876 (no.'s 27 & 28), numerous examples can be found in CoinArchives. This particular example exhibits a pellet on the obverse, marking yet another variant of the type.
