Kingdom of Jerusalem. Baldwin III gold Cut Bezant ND (1143-1163) VF, ANSMN 23 (1978), type 1; CCS p. 67, types 1-3. Metcalf, LE 240ff; J. D. Brady, "A Firm Attribution of Latin Gold Coinage to Twelfth Century Jerusalem." Partial Latin legends: Octafoil / Hexagram. In all probability these cut gold fragments with Latin legends were minted and immediately cut for circulation as bullion. There are no known examples of an whole coin, the only evidence for this coinage at all being these cut pieces.
