Charles I Shilling ND (1643-1644) MS62 NGC, Tower mint (under Parliament), P in brackets mm, S-2800. Double struck. Fully Mint State, with slight raggedness noted at the rightmost edge, though displaying striking originality, owed to the offering's combined uncirculated preservation and pleasingly intermingled lilac and silver tone. Mis-attributed to S-2843 on the holder insert, along with the provided date range of 1642 to 1648, which can be narrowed to 1643-1644 by the presence of the "P in brackets" mintmark.
