Florianus. Quinarius; Florianus; 276 AD, Rome, Quinarius, 1.46g. RIC-50 (R2); C-100 (citing Hoffmann, 20 Fr.); King-p. 386, 6 (10 spec.), pl. 29 (same dies). Obv: [I]MP C [FL]OR[I]ANVS AVG Bust laureate, draped, cuirassed, seen from front. Rx: VIRT[V] - S - AVG Emperor standing r. holding spear and globe. Florian's only quinarius, and very rare. The BM specimen illustrated by RIC pl. X, 158, the Subak specimen illustrated by King, and the two other specimens in Berk photo file are all from the same dies as ours.. F
