Obv: Head of king r. assimilated to Dionysus, wearing helmet covered with panther skin and adorned with bull's ear and horns, panther skin tied around neck, dotted border. Rx: Nike standing r., holding up wreath with both hands to crown trophy; to l. [BA]CI?E downwards; king's name to r. is off flan; in lower central field N or monogram resembling N; dotted border. Cf. SC-226, but our coin has die axis of 7-8h, whereas SC-226 should have die axis of between 9h and 3h, according to Houghton, RSN 59, 1980, p. 13. Moreover on SC-226 the reverse legend on l. should run upwards, not downwards as on our coin.Some areas of flat striking on reverse. EF
