P•SERVILLIVS - MACER, Venus standing left, holding Victory in outstretched hand and sceptre, 3.66g, 4h (RRC 480/11; Sydenham 1072; BMCRR [Roma] 4168; B. Iulia 49; Sepullia 4), banker's mark on cheek, otherwise cabinet toned and handsomely centred, a pleasing very fine, a most poignant coin and one of the last to be struck of Julius Caesar prior to the fateful events of the Ides of March 44 BC
