REGINA, crowned bust 3C left, rev. + SCVTVM : FIDEI : PROTEGET : EAM • crowned shield of arms, dividing E-R, 5.67g [87.4grns], 6h, m.m. cross crosslet (Brown & Comber G5; Schneider I, 738; North 1982; Spink 2520), a touch of die wear to highest points and trace metal flaws below E, nevertheless a remarkable example, beautifully uniform on a neat round flan, lightly toned, almost extremely fine and unquestionably choice for issue.
