Schneider II, 2; North 2066; Spink 2609), some cabinet friction behind bust, otherwise a broad and uniform striking on a full flan, residually lustrous and toned, extremely fine, and excessively rare, the second 'damascened' bust seldom if ever encountered at auction, only four traced with the thistle mintmark.
