CALABRIA, Tarentum. Campano-Tarentine series. Circa 281-272 BC. AR Nomos (20.5mm, 7.28 g, 6h). Diademed head of Satyra left, wearing triple-pendant earring / Youth, nude, riding right, crowning horse with wreath held in his extended right hand, and holding rein in left; cornucopia to upper left; below, dolphin right; TA below raised foreleg. Vlasto 1017; HN Italy 1098; SNG ANS 1288–9. Lightly toned, flan flaw on obverse, minor scratch on reverse. Good VF.
