MACEDON (Roman Protectorate), Republican period. First Meris. Circa 167-149 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 17.03 g, 8h). Amphipolis mint. Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, with bow and quiver over shoulder; all in the center of a Macedonian shield / Club right; monogram above, two monograms below; all within oak wreath; thunderbolt to left. Prokopov, Silver, Group I.A, 132 (O39/R109); HGC 3, 1103. Attractively toned, a few light marks under tone on obverse. Good VF. Attractive in hand.
