PHILISTIA (PALESTINE), Gaza ('zah). Mid 5th century-333 BC. AR Obol (9.5mm, 0.71 g, 7h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye / Owl standing facing, wings spread; olive spray to upper left, Aramaic '-Z across lower field; all within incuse square. Gitler & Tal –, but cf. V.5T for similar tetradrachm. Rough surfaces, much find patina. Near VF. Extremely rare.
