Μ ΟΠ ΑΝΤ [·] ΩΝ ΚΑΙ ·, bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from front / ΔHMAPX ЄΞ VΠATOC T A, eagle standing right on club, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; six-rayed star between legs; mim in Aramaic (for Marnas) to upper right. Prieur 1698 = Triton XXII, lot 742 (same obv. die); Bellinger 381 = Cahn 71, lot 1116 = ANS Inv. 1944.100.69085 (same obv. die); Bellinger, Dura-Europos –; Yashin –; Sofaer –, but cf. 205 (for type with star and letter transposed).
