Faustina Senior. Augusta, AD 138-140/1. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.60 g, 5h). Lifetime issue. Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 138-141. Draped bust right, wearing hair bound in pearls on top of her head / Pulvinar (throne) of Jupiter: ornamented and draped; in front and below, peacock standing with tail spread, head left; on left, transverse scepter leaning against throne. RIC III 339a (Pius); RSC 219. Toned, a few minor flan flaws on the obverse. Good VF.
