Nimbate figure of St. Peter reclining left, head right, raising hand in benediction, atop coat-of-arms surmounted by crossed keys and Papal tiara / St. Thomas of Villanova standing right, giving alms to beggar seated left. MIR 1850/2; Muntoni 7; Berman 1901; KM 290; Davenport 4070. Rich old toning, a few very light marks, minor edge marks. Good VF. A pleasing example of this highly artistic type.
