PHOENICIA, Ake-Ptolemais. 1st century BC. Æ (24.5mm, 9.92 g, 12h). Contemporary imitation of issue dated year 5 of the Caesarian Era (44/3 BC). Laureate head of Zeus right / Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia; to left, LE (date) above monogram. For prototype: cf. Kadman 71; cf. HGC 10, 8. Brown surfaces, with spots of green on reverse, light roughness. VF.
