CILICIA, Aegeae. Valerian I. AD 253-260. Æ (31mm, 16.77 g, 1h). Dated CY 300 (AD 253/4). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind; serpent-entwined staff before / Valerian standing left, sacrificing from patera over lighted altar, before distyle temple seen in perspective. Haymann 240a; SNG BN –; SNG Levante 1801. Earthen red-brown patina, corrosion in obverse field. Near VF. Rare.
