CILICIA, Corycus. Valerian I. AD 253-260. Æ Octassarion (34mm, 23.48 g, 6h). Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Dionysus, wearing nebris, holding thyrsus and wine skin over panther; to left, large agonistic prize crown inscribed ΘЄMIA containing caduceus, palm branch, and aplustre and set on three-legged table. Ziegler, Kilikens 552; SNG BN 1122 (same dies); SNG Levante 819 (same dies); SNG von Aulock 5686; SNG Anamur 223-224. Dark brown patina with tan highlights. VF.
