PHOENICIA, Berytus. Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ (18.7mm, 6.40 g, 1h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Two legionary aquilae within wreath. RPC III 3856; Rouvier 532; SNG Copenhagen 101; BMC 99-101. Black patina with red earthen highlights. Good VF. Although a common type, there are none of this grade at either RPC or CoinArchives.
