Sikh Empire, Misl Period (VS 1822-56; 1765-99), Nanakshahi Rupee, Amritsar, VS 1835 (1778), 'Ambratsar' type, with extra dot in legend above date (Herrli 01.03.04; Gurprit Singh 01.04.01; KM A20.1a), with attractive dark tone, and although the condition is a little patchy, it is quite well struck for type, very fine - good very fine, scarce early date.
