NGC MS62 | George III (1760-1820), New Coinage, 'Bullhead' Halfcrown, 1818, Type 2, rev. unbarred A in MAL, edge milled, 14.19g, 12h (Davies 61; Bull 2099; ESC 621; Spink 3789), lightly wiped with handling marks, and a nick at rim at 11 o'clock, resulting bright but residually lustrous, otherwise a bolder extremely fine / good very fine, a scarcer date of issue, in NGC holder, graded MS62 (Cert. #6295510-004).
