NGC AU58 | George III (1760-1820), New Coinage, 'Bullhead' Halfcrown, 1819, Type 2, edge milled, 14.03g, 11h (Davies 62; Bull 2102; ESC 623; Spink 3789), lightly wiped with sporadic surface marks, now retoning with underlying lustre in recesses, a flaw to rim above DEI and scuff by 9 of date, otherwise a really bold very fine, the reverse better but for die weakness on finer details, in NGC holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #6295510-005).
