NGC MS62 | George IV (1820-1830), 'Garter' Halfcrown, 1823, Type 2, edge milled, 14.11g, 7h (Davies 181; Bull 2365; ESC 634; Spink 3808), somewhat unnatural, mottled tone overlying residually lustrous surfaces, sporadic surface marks otherwise a bolder striking, near extremely fine, in NGC holder, graded MS62 (Cert. #6295510-008).
