NGC MS64 | George IV (1820-1830), Chantrey's Halfcrown, 1826, Type 3, edge milled, 14.10g, 7h (Davies 192; Bull 2375; ESC 646; Spink 3809), faint bagmarks and rim nicks, otherwise lightly frosted and mint lustrous surfaces, a similarly 'honest' and highly pleasing example of this commonly encountered coinage, a bold extremely fine, surprisingly rare in the highest states of preservation, in NGC holder, graded MS64 (Cert. #6295510-011).
