NGC MS64 | Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1877, type A5, of inferior workmanship, edge milled, 14.17g, 6h (Davies 583; Bull 2750; ESC 700; Spink 3889), struck with rusty and flawed dies with resultant 'mottled' mint frosting across otherwise truly choice original surfaces, much as struck, an exemplary 'honest' type coin, even for this frequently encountered series, in NGC holder, graded MS64 (Cert. #6295510-027).
