Victoria (1837-1901), 'Jubilee Head' Halfcrown, 1888, closed lace, edge milled, 14.17g, 12h (Davies 642, dies 2/A; Bull 2773; ESC 721; Spink 3924), rim nick at 2 o'clock, scratches behind head, and lightly wiped on obverse with sporadic contact marks, otherwise almost extremely fine, struck in the year of the Whitechapel Murders.
