Zeugitania, Carthage. Civic issue. Ca. 264-241 B.C. AE shekel (21 mm, 5.35 g, 11 h). Time of first Punic war. Sardinian mint. Wreathed head of Tanit/Persephone left wearing earring and necklace / Horse standing right; palm tree in background to left; pellet to right, Punic letter "B" (or "D"?) below. Cf. SNG Copenhagen 202-212. VF, Obverse somewhat off-center on smallish flan; dark olive patina .
