Diadumenian (AD 218). AR denarius (21mm, 2.31 gm, 1h). NGC AU 5/5 - 3/5. Rome. M OPEL ANT DIADVMENIAN CAES, bareheaded, draped, cuirassed bust of Diadumenian right, seen from the front / PRINC•IVVENTVTIS, Diadumenian standing facing, head left with baton in right hand and scepter in left; two standards to right, surmounted by eagle (on left) and wreath (on right). RIC IV.II (Macrinus) 108. Lovely matte flan with hints of rainbow toning throughout.
