Confronted busts of Caracalla right and [Geta] left, both bareheaded; c/m: laureate and draped bust right within circular incuse / ΠPY ZΩCIMOY TOY ΠPOCICTOY B CTPATNIKЄΩN, Hekate standing left, wearing kalathos, holding patera and torch; to left, hound standing left, head right. SNG von Aulock 2686 var. (obv. type, magistrate); SNG Copenhagen 512 var. (same); cf. SNG von Aulock 2682 (for the same magistrate on a different reverse type). For c/m: Howgego 84. Brown surfaces, pitted. Fine. Rare, this magistrate is known for other coins of this city but not for this reverse type. Seemingly unpublished.
