Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1724-& MS61 NGC, Aix mint, KM470.26 (this coin), Gad-339 (R). Dup-1638. Large palms variety. A coin which, upon first glance, appears far more choice than the assigned grade would seem to indicate. Indeed, though mild adjustments appear over both sides, serious marks are surprisingly absent from the surfaces, with no traces of saltwater damage or encrustations.
