Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1725-N AU Details (Saltwater Damage) NGC, Montpellier mint, KM470.13, Gad-339 (R), Dup-1638. Large palms variety. A seemingly more challenging mint for the date that the rarity assigned by Gadoury would suggest, and yet another emission that was missing from the Ford Collection. Seemingly struck from older dies, with a small lamination flaw visible over Louis' portrait.
