Comes with Vintage Letter dating 5th May 1908, requesting that a review and change of the 1901 $5 Lion portrait so as to either correct the existing issue (1901) or the following (1908). Lot includes the original Memorandum (Letters), a vignette stamped 1901, a partial 1901 note with writing showing changes to be made and finally an test issue with alterations for approval. A super interesting lot that should be reviewed.
