Wreathed head of Caesar right / Rudder, cornucopia on globe, winged caduceus, and apex; [L • MVSSIDIV]S • LONGVS above. CRI 116. Crawford 494/39a. Sydenham 1096a. RSC 29. Extremely Fine; as struck; minty, fresh surfaces with beautiful deep cabinet toning, luster and iridescence; obverse double struck but with a clear portrait visible when tilted; reverse sharply struck but off center. Interesting propaganda piece highlighting Caesar's successes, and a pleasing piece with none of the surface problems that frequently plague his coins.
