His bare head right; AVGVSTVS / German with long hair and a beard, nude but for cloak over shoulder, kneeling right in attitude of submission, offering up vexillum and extending hand; L CANINIVS GALLVS III VIR. Good Very Fine; rich old tone; small break in plating exposing core (typical of fourees) on edge at 1' reverse; slight marks on edge at 11', 6', and 8' obverse (first partially visible in reverse photo at 5', latter two visible in obverse photo; possible ex mount); good style, well centered.
