His helmeted and cuirassed bust left, aegis on breast, holding spear over shoulder and shield decorated with battle scene: two horsemen riding to left brandishing weapons, and four infantrymen in combat below; MAXIMINVS NOB CAES / Sol standing in facing quadriga, head left, raising hand and holding globe; SOLI INVICTAE around, Z below, ANT in exergue.
