SICILY. Akragas. Circa 415-406 B.C. Æ hemilitron. 14 gm. 26 mm. Eagle with head lowered and wings raised standing left, tearing at hare in talons; AKPA / Crab; crayfish below, six pellets around. Westermark, Coinage 743. CNS I, 24-26. HGC 2, 137. Very Fine; well centered on a pleasing full round flan; original untouched surface with pale green patina on obverse; glossy green patina on reverse. Pleasing example.
