Roman Imperial, Otacilia Severa, Sestertius - RARE

Rare occasional issue in bronze of Otacilla, wife of Philip I Arab, belonging to the series commemorating the so called The Age Games (Ludi Saeculares), i.e. celebrations every 110 years, which in Rome were considered the longest period of a person's life, so that no one could participate in them twice. In 248 the Games had a special course, as this year was the 1000th anniversary of Rome.

Rzadka emisja okolicznościowa w brązie Otacilli, żony Filipa I Araba, należąca do serii upamiętniającej tzw. Igrzyska Wiekowe (Ludi Saeculares), czyli uroczystości przypadające co 110 lat, co w Rzymie uważano za najdłuższy okres życia człowieka, by nikt nie mógł uczestniczyć w nich dwukrotnie. W 248 roku igrzyska miały przebieg szczególny, gdyż na ten rok przypadało 1000-lecie Rzymu.
