Thorbeckes Cigarettes Prize Winner Melbourne Exhibition. Obverse: Bear with arms crossed smoking cigarette; Reverse: legend within circle. This token of Halfpenny size entitled the holder to a prize at the Melbourne exhibition in October of 1880. This handsome example displays a brassy color and some light rub on the forearms of the bear, otherwise it is unhandled.
