Tourneur-565. Diameter: 65mm; Weight: 138.22 gms. Obverse: Bare head left; Reverse: Highly ornate panel with crowned imperial double eagle, Pillars of Hercules, and two Genii with palm fronds. Edge: Plain. Glossy chocolate brown surfaces, with incredible relief on the obverse.
Gallait was famous for his painting The Abdication of Charles V, which was dedicated by the city and the Royal Academy of Art in Ghent.
