Fonrobert-9552; Burnett-31a. Obverse: Bare bust of Belzu left; Reverse: Hercules standing facing holding a club and torch, standing atop a hydra. Boldly struck, the present example offers some attractive luster and just a faint bit of rub on the beard of the bust. Fully engaging, and certain to find a home among the many collectors of Latin American types. Sold with an envelope from Henry Christensen.
