Obverse: Bolivia seated left, holding staff crested by liberty cap; behind, pedestal topped by condor; above, radiant sun; Reverse: Arms of Bolivia surmounted by the head of Jorge Cordova. This propaganda piece was produced to celebrate the succession of Jorge Cordova as the successor to Manuel Belzu, his father-in-law. This medal displays a strong strike and some luster that peeks out from the layering of rainbow toning. Sold with an envelope from Henry Christensen.
