COLOMBIA. 2 Escudos, 167[9]-G. Santa Fe de Bogota Mint. Charles II. PCGS AU-50.
Fr-3; KM-12; Cal Type-151. This example of the oft crude type displays a vibrant and sunny color to the surfaces and the full cross and most of the shield struck on flan. Very little evidence of actual handling is present. The last digit of the date, though obscured, must be a 9 as it is the only year in 1670s from this mint with the assayer mark of "G".
Estimate: $1000 - $1500
