Obverse: Conjugate busts of Don Luis de Velasco and Vincenzo Gonzales right; Reverse: Naval battle scene from July 30th, 1762. A charming proclamation medal celebrating the capture of Morro Castle, which was captured by a British fleet. Toned a light oaken brown, this example displays good details, though it has seen some contact and other evidence of handling. This piece presents a great opportunity for a beautiful medal on a budget price.
