Her-150; Med-174; Rosa-224. Weight: 6.45 gms; Diameter: Approximately 27 mm. By Miguel Ciriaco Arango. Obverse: Charles IV. Reverse: Three castles over pair of keys, the arms of Havana. A RARE, early, and desirable Cuban issue that may have been intended to circulate given weight approximating that of a Spanish 2 Reales. Though the obverse fields show reengraving, all motifs are present. Some residue is evident around the reverse legend. Quite an interesting relic of Cuban history that will excite specialists.
