Obverse: NAPOLEON III LE MISERABLE 80000 PRISONNIERS; Bust of Napoleon III left, chained by the neck with a collar "SEDEN", wearing pickelhaube, and smoking cigarette; Reverse: VAMPIRE DE LA FRANCE 2 DEC 1851-2 SEPT 1870; Eagle standing facing, standing upon cannon with thunderbolts below. A humorous satirical piece that displays lots of mint red on the surfaces and a wonderfully applied design. A great buy for those interested in political history.
