BHM-23; Eimer-694. By L. Natter. Diameter: 34mm; Weight: 19.78 gms. Obverse: Laureate, draped, and armored bust right; Reverse: George seated left on throne, holding scepter and being crowned by Britannia standing to left; trident and Union shield to left; to outer right, lion seated facing, with forepaw upon orb. Edge: Very slight reeding in spots. Despite its minor prior cleaning, this alluring example features a flashy nature with some deep hues of cobalt and violet nearer the peripheries and around the devices.
